What is AutoPay and how do I sign-up?

AutoPay is a convenient automatic payment service. With AutoPay, you can pay your  bill automatically each month - no checks to write, no late or forgotten payments. You can use either a checking account, debit card or credit card to set-up your AutoPay. If you set up Autopay with a Credit Card, you will be charged a 2.5 % fee on the total amount of your bill each month.

 

Each month, your account balance is paid automatically from your chosen method of payment with our secure process. You can sign up for AutoPay via your My altafiber Account (Billing > AutoPay > Enroll Today). Then follow the prompts to complete your enrollment. 

 

You will be able to decide if you want AutoPay to always pay the full bill amount or if you would prefer to select a maximum payment amount (i.e. your bill is $120, you can set the maximum amount to be withdrawn from your checking account, debit card or credit card to never exceed $120 each month).


altafiber Autopay Terms and Conditions:

Participation in altafiber’s Autopay service means you authorize altafiber to automatically collect the full balance due on your account each month on your scheduled due date.   You can cancel Autopay service at any time by accessing Update Profile within MyAccount or by contacting Customer Care.


You can choose either automatic withdrawal from your checking account (ACH) or automatic charge to your debit card or credit card as the Autopay payment method.  If you set up Autopay with a credit card, you will be charged a 2.5 % fee on the total amount of your bill each month.  The status of the payment in MyAccount will say "pending" until payment confirmation as been received and deemed successful. You understand that if your electronic payment is rejected for any reason, altafiber has the right to charge a return item fee (where applicable) and/or late fees (where applicable), to cancel the Autopay service, and/or to bill you in paper format.


Participation in the Autopay service is subject to altafiber’s approval. You must continue to manually pay your bill until enrollment in Autopay is complete.  You understand that altafiber reserves the right, upon written notification, to terminate your participation in this payment option at any time, as authorized by applicable law. You agree that altafiber is not liable for incorrect bill statements or faulty debits/charges to your account.  However, should an error in the bill statement occur, you must provide written notice to altafiber detailing the nature of the error. If altafiber determines that an error has been made on your bill statement, altafiber shall make adjustments to your account as appropriate. If you intend to dispute charges on your bill, please contact altafiber at 1-800-875-1451. altafiber will make every effort to resolve the dispute in a timely manner.


You agree to keep your email address and account information correct and current within altafiber's MyAccount. altafiber is not responsible for the unsuccessful delivery of emails or declined payments due to incorrect information. You understand that you must be an active residential altafiber customer to be eligible for the Autopay service.
