Setup email

  • Go to the Home screen.
  • Choose Email.
  • If this screen appears, choose the list symbol and choose Add account.
  • If this screen does not appear, go to the next step.
  • Under Email address, enter your email address
  • Choose Advanced Setup.
  • Check POP3.
  • Under POP3 Server, enter pop3.live.com
  • Under Username, enter your email address
  • Under Password, enter your password
  • Under Delete email from server, choose an option.
  • Under SMTP Server, enter smtp.live.com
  • Uncheck Use same credentials for Incoming and Outgoing servers.
  • Scroll down.
  • Under Username, enter your email address
  • Under Password, enter your password
  • Choose Security Settings and Ports.
  • Under Incoming Security Settings, check or uncheck one or more options.
  • Under Port, enter 995
  • Under Outgoing Security Settings, check or uncheck one or more options.
  • Under Port, enter 587
  • Choose SAVE.
  • Scroll down.
  • Choose NEXT.
  • If an error message is displayed, verify the settings and choose NEXT.
  • Choose an option, in this case, GO TO INBOX.
  • If this screen appears, choose an option, in this case, Exit.
  • If this screen does not appear, go to the next step.
  • The e-mail account has been configured and is ready for use.
  • Return to the Home screen.
