Cincinnati Bell to Make Fioptics Gigabit Internet Speed Available to More Customers

CINCINNATI, Ohio – Cincinnati Bell, a leader in telecommunications and broadband networking services, today announced that it will make Fioptics gigabit internet speed available to more of its customers by the end of the second quarter of 2014.
Cincinnati Bell has offered gigabit data speed to its enterprise customers since May 2001. With more than 276,000 consumer and business addresses fiber-enabled by Cincinnati Bell, the company has a unique opportunity to give customers the flexibility and capability to upgrade speeds to meet their ever-changing technology needs.

Fioptics gigabit internet speed is available to select customers today from Cincinnati Bell. This speed will be available to multiple tenant business units by the end of the second quarter. It will be made available generally to business and consumer customers by the end of the third quarter.
Cincinnati Bell is also expanding its efforts to support the small business technology community.
