CINCINNATI BELL INTRODUCES CONNECT CINCINNATI MOBILE APP

Cincinnati Bell is proud to introduce its Connect Cincinnati mobile app, a new digital tool that will bring together consumers and businesses across the region.
The Connect Cincinnati mobile app is free and loaded with information about businesses, venues and organizations across Greater Cincinnati including the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati, Newport on the Levee, the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. The Connect Cincinnati mobile app will also give users exclusive, unique experiences at the most prestigious events in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
And Cincinnati Bell customers who sign in to the Connect Cincinnati mobile app using their My Account e-mail will receive special deals and offers from participating businesses and organizations.
The Connect Cincinnati mobile app is now available at Apple's App Store and through Google Play. It marks the latest phase of Cincinnati Bell's "Light Up Cincinnati" initiative, which launched in 2014 with the introduction of Fioptics gigabit Internet for small businesses and consumers. Fioptics gigabit Internet is up to 100 times faster than most broadband offerings.
"Light Up Cincinnati" also includes Cincinnati Bell's growing network of free high-speed WiFi hotspots at major public venues and businesses around town, which are possible thanks to an innovative partnership between Cincinnati Bell and the City of Cincinnati. The Banks, Fountain Square, Smale Riverfront Park, Washington Park, Findlay Market and many other local venues now have free Fioptics WiFi, which can be accessed through the "Fioptics Free WiFi" SSID on mobile devices.
The Connect Cincinnati mobile application leverages this network of free Fioptics WiFi hotspots, which are complimented by a growing number of businesses that also offer free Fioptics WiFi.
Christi Cornette, senior vice president of marketing at Cincinnati Bell, said the Connect Cincinnati mobile app is building a web of connectivity that will create value for consumers and businesses.
